at least you have a girlfriend to help you keep your sanity. I can't even look a girl in the eyes without risking burning in hell for all eternity.(I'm catholic)
As I recently quit smoking, I found out there are 3 ways to go: you either find something else which can also be harmful and get addicted to it; you find something positive(studying, helping people, working out) and get addicted to it; or the hardest which is resisting to each and every urge until your mind comprehends that you no longer need a compulsion. That takes a year or so though, and is nearly maddening.
I can replace it with smoking for another month or two before I gotta go clean. I already work out so I think im going to need to find another "hobby" or dirty pleasure. I think I might get into writing or something since I love reading,
Cydna, get into writing and art. Although Froyd created a lot of bullshit ideas, one of the things that I believe he said is true, is that art can sublimate our libido. At least it works for me.
@SPiEkY you don't quit the catholic church, the catholic church quits you, besides I think i'm cursed anyway. I haven't had a single healthy legitimate relationship my entire life, not sure if there is even hope for me at this point. my family is very strict, sometimes to the point of ridiculousness.
So it's a lot Firking harder than I thought :/ I gave in this morning but it was only to movie scene nudity... But anyway now I know I gotta resist the urge to watch/view ANY nudity. It takes 3 weeks to break a habit
