manic is not random, it always moves counter clockwise.

Manic is definitely not random, it follows the knockback chart, just in reverse.

What SPiEkY said. You can actually find the knockback chart in the forums - there will be a guide either in the ST or SP forums, or in the training grounds. Just reverse the arrows and remember that a 2x2's top corner is the attractor and you will always be able to predict your manic moves.
