I feel like it can be pretty accurately described as 1984 meets The Giver. It was honestly haunting, in many aspects.

I've been on there a couple times. I am usually too lazy to signup for anime sites however no idea why xP.
Attack on titan is good, kill la kill is hilarous, watched a great deal more Usually switch to manga when a season ends or i've caught up to the last anime episode.
I am not an anime enthusiast. I like a few select animes that i've seen (GITS, cowboy bebop, death note, etc), but generally find a lot of anime completely intolerable. The reason I don't like things such as naruto (only seen a few episodes, admittedly, but i hated it) is because of all things such as snot bubbles, 'stress' marks, teardrops, awkward girls/blushing humour, running-fast-legs, etc. Don't really know how better to explain it, but goddamn I cannot watch that stuff without cringing.
It's overly mentioned, like someone telling you that Star Wars is a great sci-fi/fantasy movie. And like Star Wars, it's overly hyped.
What if I told you that I consider Star Wars to be just okay? I think Cowboy Bebop had all the elements, interesting characters, good story line, good animation, and a killer sound track. I can just think of Tank! and improve my day.
Mhm. It's a cliche though, that's all i was implying. Too well known to be worth mentioning. There are other anime like it, many from the same studio. You would probably like Michiko to Hatchin, though it's more down to earth (literally & metaphorically). Cowboy Bebop is a good "starter" anime. Introductory, and much loved by people who haven't branched out into deeper media. It's is less of an animated story, and more of a fractured afternoon cartoon.
Anyone got a good page for watching TV series animes? I'm not much into that and would like to try one
