FS has plenty to offer in equip removal to a limit. Spells: Corrode (45 nora) : Non fs runes in an big AoE 3-4 Loot (40nora) : Closest Opposing rune Darkmarsh warsong (95 nora) : Summons 3 units, one of them being Darkmarsh snatcher. As you can see they are very situation, often taking a rune slot. Personally i still run corrode. Champs: Tortun Corsair (76/79/82 nora): Not feasable unless tortun even then... Most people go with something else as an upgrade. Darkmarsh Snatcher (67/69/74 nora): good in a Boghopper bg, flanking,assassinate make him quite feasible. Edit: ^besides snatcher, But i included him for others sake.
I think FS has a harder time with anti-equipes than most other factions as it was not something we ever needed because corrode used to be global and cost 35 nora or something which basically made it the best anti-equip in the game. It got nerfed into its current state which is still good but feels quite expensive if you are just removing one demon shield for example. Loot is more of a gamble as it doesn't work in certain situations like getting rid of negative equips.
It doesn't work because there is no valid target because demon shield can only be equipped on demons.
I thought it would remove the equipment but just act as a shatter since you don't have any valid targets. It's been a long time since I've used Loot (though it was my go-to with the huge caveat of sucking when negative equips are popular).
Corrode got nerfed into aoe quite early iirc. And FS has better options for equipment removal then ST for example, darkmarsh snatcher isn't that bad either imo.
