Hey, I'm making an ST/KF split, and since I don't have KF experience with beasts. Wich one you guys recommend for making an bg?
You missed the best time for this split years ago. It was when K'thun was running rampant in the meta and summons were creating problems with how easily they were being produced and the hp bonus they would receive from ST. This sounds familiar to something now but I can't put my finger on it
Yes, I know beast time was gone, but I have recently recieved an Jek from my Box, and want to make an BG arround him. Was thinking beasts, since he is one, but any suggestion would be appreciate.
Are you particuarly fixed on KF/ST or is KF/X OR ST/X Acceptable. Any split with KF or ST can run Jek. I find it quite difficult since the Boost change to make a good beast bg. KF lost a TON of beasts with Vashal champs almost all losing Beast. As it stand you probably want to either run: 1 - Jek super champ BG - Some Healing for Jek - Protection / Blizzard Cloak - Pilgrimage (Quest: Damage is awesome on Jek) - Keeneye Crown (+1 RNG and Precision, Strike on Flyers) - Skyspear (+2 DMG and Mobility bonus on Knights) 2 - Beast Summon BG Summoners: - KF Snake Charmer - Summons Snakes - ST Lonx Recruiter - Summons Snow Pups - ST Furbull Mother - 89-93 nora! In either cases you probably want a source of: 1 - Boost: Beast / Boost Weak (not as good) -- Snake Charmer (Boost Beast) - 67 Nora (Heal Champ 1), 70 Nora (Heal Champ 2) -- Queen Anaru (Boost Beast) - 97! Nora -- Lonx Beast Tamer (Boost Beast) - 75 Nora (Invig 1), 81 Nora (Invig 2). Really Expensive, but can allow you to actually trigger Logistics on the Lonx Recruiter but only on 1 out of 2 of them.. -- Conclave Warden (Boost: Weak) 62 Nora (Boost + Shielded/Guided Spirit). 5 spd is slow in Splits. 2 - Commander / Commander Beast - KF Vashal Ranger (Commander, he is a Beast) - Honor Coin (Equipment) - Grants Commander on Equiped Character. 3 - Surge Beast - Jek - Lonx Recruiter - Lonx Beast Tamer (Surge replaces Boost Beast) 4 - Battlemaster (less important in Super Jek but nice in swarmy bgs) - Jakei Wingmaster - Expensive 82-88 nora! - No other beasts with BM. 5 - Camaraderie / Call to Arms (Nora Reduction). - Frost Wolf (Leverage/Call to Arms) - Crystal Howler (Call to Arms, also is Ranged) Then it is just a quesiton of picking some champs. -- Issue with ST/KF is very limitied range beast champs. Crystal Howlers, ST+KF Pox Renovator, Woodland Jester, Ospryan Valkyrie, Jakei Wingmasters. That is all the range you get to pick from. If you run mostly ST champs you can run 2x KF Doomies and use Adaptive + many KF spells to grow it. If you run mostly KF champs you can run 2x ST Doomies and buff via many ST spells, but the ST doomie is worse than the KF one.
ST/KF Lonx Equipment Swap BG -- Basic Premise it to take advanage of the Skystorm Spear by moving them around with the Facilitator, resetting the CD repeatedly. 2 Lonx Recruiter (Summon, Surge) - 80 Nora 2 Lonx Beast Tamer (Boost, Invig 1) - 75 Nora 1 Lonx Facilitator (Pilfer, Provision: Defense) - 70 nora 2 Crystal Howler (Call to Arms/Bravery + Distract) - 77 - 78 nora. 2 Snowcharger Cavalry 1 Jek 2 Vashal Ranger (Commander, Train Opportunist Assault / Shatter) - 80-82 nora 2 Woodland Jester (Charm 1, Leap 2) - 65 nora 2 KF Doombringers ( 1 Blizzard Cloak 1 Pilgrimage 1 Protection 1 Fan Faire 1 Herbal Antidote 1 Devolve 1 Nature's Wrath 1 Brambles 1 Snow Blind 1 Catharsis Bloom 1 Provincal Marker (ST Warbanner) 2 Skystorm Spear 1 Keeneye Crown
Ty for the suggestion. Gona try some of those. I think I will go for an ST/SL split too, maybe with an small Dragons module in there. SL have lots of good beasts, and the range I need. Gonna post my BG when get home. Cheers...
If you got Jek, use my super awesome cool superchamp Jek deck Basically, Jek with thirst for battle, + forests embrace --> shatter --> staff of ascension spam. Also as many things that give defence as possible. Also every BS ST superchamp spell and every KF buff. Also as much invulnerability as possible for first for battle procs without dieing. Watching people trying to get past 12def, block from provsion, resist physical 3 and evasive 3 is fun. The best part is when they cast retribution or something for it and you have escape magic/healing hand.
