in general, a nice QOL fix would be to halt any queued attacks after your proc a hidden effect like obelus, split personality, or protection (gives eater). it hurts some players pretty badly when they have two queued attacks.

@Sokolov Would it be possible for Poison Oak to have new artwork?

pounce working like a ranged attack blows my mind every time it's done to me. makes zero sense.

It's not a ranged attack in any way. Can you elaborate on what you mean?

Pounce is a relocation effect with an AE damage component. It's the same as any other AE damage effect (such as Novas and Bombs) in terms of its damage. The fact that there is a relocation before the damage doesn't change the nature of that damage.

What do you mean it works as a ranged attack?

And it shouldn't work at all if you can't relocate. I'll look into it.

If you use pounce and your champ is rooted, the damage is still dealt, but the relocation never occurs.

    I'll check it out.

Right, which I am inclined to rule as a bug, but what does that have to do with ranged attacks?

Do you guys mean that when this occurs, Arrow Eater blocks it?

Ok, under what circumstances does it do this?

I just tried Pounce with Earthbound, Rooted and Planarbound, and in none of these cases could I actually relocate (expected) and there was no damage dealt (you guys are saying it still does damage and counts as ranged?)?

try pounce with a hidden relic like rocktrap on one of the spots

Didn't notice anything weird when Pouncing near the relic.

It relocated, did damage, then was stunned and knockbacked from the Rock Trap.

    Trying ON the Relic now.

Ok, ON the Relic does cause an issue where it doesn't land there (since it's occupied), and then the relic and any adjacent champions take damage.

Still wondering what the "ranged attack" issue is if someone has any more information.

Looks like this issue affects most Relocates, including Glorious Leap and Elusive Leap (tho in the latter case it actually relocates adjacent instead, which is probably fine).

Once it is triggered, there IS a debuff that is visible. But I will request a visual be added and along with a combat log item.

Ok, so there is nothing "ranged attack" about it. It's just damage.

I'll do some testing with 2x2 Pounce, but it should just say invalid target if you can't goto a space, but 2x2s have always had issues.

pounce with wandering results in the very counter-intuitive ranged cone bomb too

Yea, I got it now :D I was just a little bit confused about the terminology, since it suggested something else was happening.
