Chosen of Osarius

How do you like the guy?
My first tought are that he is a boring tank, goota play him to see if its any different.

 

i thought the same but hunter meek with his tanking ability is going to punch in the face
i don't like mark of osarius it really bad idea only trigger once

We'll see if speed 8 is still draw win potential with the new rotation.

 

True, I haven't checked out the new maps yet, so it may not even be an issue at all.

 

i can predict that brand of brutality with him will be firking op
also guys don't forget to run him with battlemaster so he can tank more

 

Is anyone else getting no spell presence on him?

 

As someone who wanted to have a Deep Elf knight / blackguard / whatever for a long time in the game, seeing an armored deep elf guy is pleasing.

 

using firelight gem on him, good damage and tanky.

 

Yeah, this is a solid rune. It's not going to be game changing, but there's nothing to complain about here.

 

Which upgrades are you guys liking the best?

 

I'm using default for now to see how it feels

 

fire eater and scale armor

 

I've been running him with voidshield and fire eater in my lava BG

 

same here. debating on using scale armor but it makes him pricier. decisions...

 

Just took him out, running him at 79 seems great but mark of osarius is just a garbage ability, he only shines against really specific decks where hunter: meek works.

 

Mark of Osarius could be tweaked. What if he had some sort of buff or additional ability when in the vicinity of Osarius? And what is Osarius could trigger multiple times? The latter hardly seems like it would put him over the edge.

What if he had 2 additional defense for each head of Osarius within 8 spaces of him?

 

Because the truth is that he's boring.

 

He could have relic guardian.
