maybe it's a cyclopean suit for voils...i dunno...but cyclops and voils are kinda enemies right?

 

They pretty much hate each other.

 

yeah.....could be some love-hate relationship..or forced alliance thing due to them being cornered together against an army of dwarfs.....so the cyclops tinkerers made a suit for the voil to fly out and conduct the thunder to shock the constructs
