Deep Wounds affects non-basic attacks.

Reproduction Steps:
1. Deploy The Exile or Snaptooth/Murkwater Hunter.
2. Doubletap something.
3. Heal it to full health.
4. Use The Exile's Disease Breath / Hunter's pounce.
5. The Breath/Pounce will be amplified by Deep Wounds' debuff.

isn't this intended? deep wound isn't a condition that says: this champion gets double dmg from deepwound ability?

 

Text reads only basic attacks.

 

A basic attack is only needed to APPLY the condition. When the condition is already there, any damage from a champion with Deep Wounds is amplified.

 

The wording of the ability claims otherwise.

 

It's probably worded wrong. The ability mentions basic attack, but I believe the Wounded condition does not.

It makes more sense to require a basic attack only to apply the condition. Otherwise, non basic attacks would be useless for champions with Deep Wounds.

 

The Deep Wounds condition mentions the exact same thing the ability does in brackets.

 

Non basic attack options can be very handy when facing One With Nora, Pounce to close distance, etc.
