deflect not functioning properly vs units with dots

i had an enemy spider player attack me while i had deflect up using a rust demon.
for some reason i still received the scoured dot even though i had taken zero damage.
and on the enemies end they had received no dot from the returned attack.

 

I noticed this too. Hope they fix this bug!

 

I wonder if this needs to go in the Bugs Forum for DoG to see it and fix it.
