Discussion: Expansion 29: Rune Preview 3

Finally the @Markoth rune came out.

OK I'll bite. The KF centaur. Awesome trolling for whoever showed the preview as a 2x2 when its going to be a 1x1.
Making the new centaurs 1x1, and some(all) of the older centaurs into 1x1 is the single best idea you could do to improve that theme.
The new art is great.
Warlord being a reskin of Voil Senses seems OK. IMO Encouraged is a better...but maybe having 1x1 centaurs will mean that a melee turning into a 4 range guy might actually have uses. Rally the Herd may make the ability unexpectedly good.
Commander and Block2 and Spwllswallower are all Myeh, and none of those abilities have synergy with the others. Block2 is a good ability, I just think its overcosted and unwieldy.
Whether or not the rune is useful at all would seem to rely entirely on what is hiding under those upgrade paths.

 

How do you know about the centaurs going to 1x1 and what the warlord ability does?

Have I missed some info somewhere?

If the alternative upgrades are decent on the centaur it could be good. Compared to those other spoilers it's pretty flat though.

Is that a mutated elf?

 

It kind of looks exactly like a Draksar.

 

Draksar are mutated humans, so elves should look pretty much the same except their ears.
Draksar Broodqueen, Morph and Consulate show no sign of pointed ears.

 

I feel like you can't use these 2 words so close to each other .

 

I'm maybe positive that is the case
