does whirl of blades count as a basic attack?

I'm 99% sure the answer is no but jst wanted to confirm.

 

If you are asking if you can metamorph a whirl of blades unit, equip it with Reapers Blade, cleanse it and then run wild, the answer is no.

 

had something else in mind, but based on that will likely not work, was mostly curious about how it interacted with ballista, causing it to fire.

ironically if it does cause it to fire you can put reapers blade on the ballista XD

 

I would venture to guess that it wouldnt work but Ballista does proc on some pretty interesting stuff so it would be worth testing.

 

does it proc on defensive strike? or perhaps someting like kanens group hits? how about cleave?

 

I do believe it works on Defensive Strike at least I used to use Providence in my Ballista deck before its most recent change. I am pretty sure it procs on Sentinel as well.
