How many did you craft? I've never received that message, can't say I've crafted more than a dozen in a week's time.
dunno, 20-30 maybe, didnt keep count. Would be handy if anyone knows the limit for future reference also.
I don't know exact weekly limit, but it does exist. Once you exhausted your massive stockpile of shards, it won't be an issue.
