Just as a fun post. What are everyone's favorite visual/sound effects in Pox Nora? Is there a Spell or Ability that you may not normally use but really like how it looks when it does popup in a match? Is there something goofy that you find endearing? The bug swarm for diseased (or infected cant remember - saw it in a zombie bg) that follows the champ around when he moves is animated exceptionally well. the bugs like form a line and chase after the champ, rather than the effect just staying static around the champ. Really thoughtful and creative animation. [edit] infected zombie
Best sound effect: Vertical push. So perfect. Best Visual: Planar Dissonance, I think it is a the same visual as Necroweave, not sure. Visual runner ups: Banish/ Journey to oblivion, Delay (the sound is good for delay as well).
omg, my gf complains about the vertical push sound effect whenever she hears it. she usually is on the bed reading or using her phone or w/e while i play and whenever she hears it she complains and says she doesn't like that sound. lol
Dead Fairy's attack animation; she turns into a skull thing briefly. More to come as I think of them.
Firk Prophet attack animation and overall sprites. Psychic Ping sound and visual effect. Still remember it giving Vuln was so sweet. Ice tiles forming. Blizzard the spell. Some unused spell that has its own ice GUI over runes. Blizzard Elemental. Chill and Frozen. The useless special attack of the Jakei Icefisher has a nice sound effect. AoE 2 water attack visual and sound effect. Top 5 FS for me. Units dying. So cool. The ranged slam attack sound. Escalation himn. Makes your opponent or yourself Bane Shift in fear of big damage building up. Having two of them in play enhances the effect. And many many more cool stuff. Pox has awesome effects.
I've always enjoyed the sound and animation of dark pact, but i think that's just a Pavlovian thing about people hammerstriking their own champs.
