it gives you the extra ap for early font grabbing without increasing max ap cap. also the slight damage bump would remove the need to increase stats. precision while a cool ability to have, doesnt really enhance the champs role. you can always use another champ to waste the block if needed.

the more i look at it, you would probably be better off with rend 3 base and then put defiling blows on with either poison or rabid. FW is very immune to the dots and giving up the rend for defile might hamper this champs matchups too much.

 

Which is why the rend/defiling blows chain is good. Defiling blows is for 1 hit then the other infestors apply their abilities and rend 3 is for mascaraing low armor units.
