I can't say I've won a single FF UD match vs FF IS since coming back. I can beat any other faction. They have so much defense healing and damage. So what would actually make IS salty?
Have you tried hook fiends? Pallies usually have one damage dealer and if you put him out of position and pick him opff zou are able to secure a considerabl advantage. edit: also one round stuff
Champs with the Render ability like bloodletter and minotaur render do really will against IS defense stacking.
Missing everything from The Ronin and up, I was not very impressed with Render when I first came back. However you're right it's so good against all the IS def stacking.
it's good vs 1 champ with defense stacked, or avatar transfigured. You'll use the dmg against the weaker anyways...
I've always thought it should be a UD rune. Also forced evolution. On topic, bleed decks especially blood abhorrant, cut through def.
I believe it was made KF/FW because it had Loss of Life as its base attack and it's a Spirit. Both of those tend to be very "FW" things, whereas if it had Tormented, Bleed, Race: Demon, it would be UD. Not that it wouldn't be cool to have something like that for UD. (Though I do wish more of the Delim stuff was KF/UD, oh well).
