First of all................why?

Secondly, can he get one? I suggest Beast, or maybe even Human/Elf.

He was a Giant before it was phased out. After that he was a Beast (which made no sense at all...) I suppose he's none because every available race requires a major stretch of imagination to apply to a 50 foot jolly green giant.

Fire Giant fared better because they could just slap Demon on it and call it a day.

 

Yea I am gonna go with racelant on this one. Forest giant is definitely race plant. Green Kthir Forest champ. He is a plant.

Plant or dwarf makes the most sense, I'm pretty sure he was a plant at one point not sure what happened.

Forest Giant, taller then all the trees, carries a a giant branch as a club. There is always a taller tree somewhere I guess.

Plant or tree-folk, why is there difference in these races? Since he is hard to classify in race, throw race mutant in there?

edit: i kinda like race: troll or spirit too.

Based on traditional common sense:
Plant = vegetables (from the classical taxonomy)
Tree-folk = fairy being linked to the forest (it can or not be made of wood)

 

so spirit then

 

He used to be a beast/elf. Was never tree folk/plant as far as I can remember

 

Demi-god probably takes the least amount of mental gymnastics. Giant is the opposite of Dwarf, so no sale there and his description paints him as a non-elven being. Again, most races don't really fit well, no matter how nice it would be to apply theme synergy to giant butt...

 

Giant Butt synergy? I would love to see how that bg would work...
