quick reminder of the rules for group stage

play twice vs each of the players in your group. win = 2pt lose = 1pt not played = 0pt.
you can challenge people from other groups for bonus points (just once vs each other player)

NON REPETITION RULE: if you play a rune in first match against your opponent , you cannot play the same rune in the second match.
example: player A plays a bg with hammerstrike 2x and macadamize 1x in it vs player B. the second match of player A vs player B, player A cannot play in his bg neither hammerstrike nor macadamize. When he plays vs player C, its all reset.

challenges are only 1 match so no limitations.

also a brief explanation of why it lasts so long: getting to play all other players twice takes time. also january is exams time for a lot of players who are students, so a groupstage going up to february gives them the chance to play.

 

ok. so how do you challenge? do I email them from list and ask when? what are the steps?

 

the challenges are direct, you write pm in forum or discord and challenge. same for group you write and ask when they can play

exactly, but it is applied only to second match in league. challenges are free from limitations.

Beauty of earlier times was the ability to lose at this game happily, I don't have that for pox anymore.

Been testing a couple of BGs for this. It’s fun trying out a couple of new runes, combos, and ideas. I already discovered a new neat trick so the tournament has been worth it before I even played a match.
