I was able to use Gift of the Djinn: Ifrit on a Summoned/Swarmed Hyaenid Instigator (has Pariah). I was considering keeping this quiet and then abusing it... But my conscience got the better of me. I haven't tried to replicate it yet, but I'll let people know what I find when/if I do.
