Cost - 35 For 3 turns, target font cannot be contested or captured. This is a hidden effect. Note: Spell cannot be used to contest a font that your opponent has already captured. Casting on an opposing font will make it harder for you to contest or capture for yourself. Purpose of the spell is to help defend against early rushes and as a trap of sorts. You can cast the spell on one of your undefended fonts so that your opponent will move in to contest. Then on your turn you can deploy a unit to defend the font. The duration is short however so if you haven't dealt with the opponents unit by the end of your next turn the font will be successfully contested.
stalwart defender is a great rune though. Sentinel of Ailur is not the worst rune ever. Not as good as stalwart but still not a bad option. IS already has a bunch of staple spells. I do not get it.
