It's actually very useful/helpful once you train it. Having to type 3 letters instead of 8 and also have options for various words is very helpful. This kind of tech is partly why Japanese texting is so much faster too.. In my case, when I first started using it, typing things like KF, ST, RNG, DMG, DEF all would auto-correct.... now that it knows I use those terms a ton purposefully, it doesn't do that anymore.
I am pretty sure the iPad's on screen keyboard is somehow speed capped because trying to type fast on that thing is a nightmare.
This is why you need a REAL computer... (And while you're there feel free to pick one up for me as well so I can replace my toaster.)
