Would True Nature negate Tough and Resilient? I am unfamiliar with that ability's interactions because I'm not a degenerate IS rune user.

 

Depends. If Tough/Resilient is an upgrade than yes. If it is base than no.

 

Hm. I see. Well, it's better than nothing though I suppose if they have it, they'll just eat the dots anyway. I got carried away. I'll instead make up for that downside by tuning the DMG to 3 so that it can Firk up SL units and just give it something else for the MK III.

There are plenty of ways to give the rune +2 or 3 dmg in the game.
