I am looking for some ideas for an acid BG now with the new runes. Can someone post their ideas and BGs?
The Mutated Drake will be forgeable and in the Extended Set Packs once Expansion 30 launches (which won't be for awhile).
Acid Dartwing: Staple, specially with Elusive discount. Acid Elemental: Cheap enough with Bomb3 at last. Mutant Drake: Best unit, tanky, speedy and versatyle. I believe Bold wins UP1 and Amplify Acid for UP2 since you want this unit to last longer than your opponent next unit. Bombardier: I don't like it having Bomb and range (same attack type), being a hitter and have low damage, and on top paper HP. On a serious deck building, I guess it should go, or ran at the cheapeast cost (61N). Alchemist: Worth every nora. Alt damage, decent range, decent dmg, AoE, OP potion, and Initiative for surprises. Arthromancer: Very supportive on the alt damage area. Skithmaw: Detect and decent stats. Not autoinclude as before but interesting with Leap3. Phoenix: Only drawbacks I've come with the time is UD (don't even deploy it, Fading Recollection boom!) and aura or dot kills, preventing the max AP comeback on your next turn. I've allways considered Swoop (nonbasic attack) and Aura3 staple for aggresive play. Neodrake: Vulnerability: Magical doesn't set him back. It is the best beater of the deck. Other Units Draksar Morph: Never tried her. Seems costly on paper. Myx Adamant: Never tried him. N°1 tank when I need any. Myx Sandlion: Good damage and range dot. I still don't get used to it's redesign, but looks good on paper (It was a melee unit with Ambush). Myx Mindwarp: Never tried because was flawed from release, but it looks cool on paper now. Serpent Fly: It managed to stay in the deck because Hunter: Cripple + Quarry Mark dealt good damage. Now both got nerfed so it's flaws aren't compensated. Sunderpede: Wow didn't notice it's redesign. Might work. Valdaci Guardian: Don't have him, someone tell me if it's worth it. Not Worth It Acid Dragoleech: Low HP low Dmg Cobra Spitter: Got decimated, butchered, cut in splits and cooked. Sad serpent is sad. I would like it to lose Multiattack (1). Daggerpede: Not worth running when Hunter was 50%, much less now. Homicidal Thug: Charge mechanic is flawed. I believe it will be good once revamped with a mechanic similar to Mutant Drake. Myx Broodlord: Boring, and no longer Collosal. Myx Spitter: Paper HP. Skywing Acidcraw: UP2 locking of death Skywing Imperator: Too costly now. Alchemist does it's job much better. Note: Ignore spells and relics, just testing.

I'm really not clear as to what you are all referring to. Are you talking about the Myx Sandsnipe. That had range then lost it and became the Myx Sandlion then regained its range? or Are you taking about the Sand Spitter which used to be the Sand Dragon and was a beefy tanky dragon who became a bug and was then later changed to range and renamed the Sand Spitter?
