Imo, I don't know if it would be Overpowered, but I think Equalize on base would be flavorful enough to bring him back while keeping him expensive as a snowball champion, he is more of a unit to mobilize his Dwarven Subjects. Maybe remove power attack in favor for subsume or a defensive ability to keep him from getting poked from abilities left and right.
