If equalize triggers with yeti disciple, you get him for 61 nora with the 85 nora build. He is worth testing.

 

Yep I've considered him for awhile just never found room.

So much alt damage now it's a hard fit

 

I was using disciple in a monk bg, and said to myself "this dude is awesome, he is going into my amp frost bg for sure!" Then I was looking at the rune manager like, "some other time."

Why no elemental cores, I like dropping jakei pilgrim and then dropping core then throwing star catalog on him. Jakei pilgrim in front of jakei extinguisher is also a good set up. Jakei pilgrim gives a huge amount of survivability to your units and has some magic damage.

 

been busy with things irl, and since nothing has been changing in pox, it's fallen to the way side for now.

Yeah, that sounds strong in theory, but you've invested so much in him. For a fairly similar cost as the pilgrim, core and equip you could have instead deployed: Jakei Extinguisher, Lonx adept, Yeti Spirit.

 

I usually deploy jakei anyways because he had regen 2, high health with bonus, good magic damage and good range. I could have deployed one more champ I guess but it's all about that catalyst frost in a frost amp bg. Also the ability where core gets extra ap is game changing some turns when a jakei or elemental is deployed. Typically I drop Phoenix for the heal, ap gen on core.

Every time that core gets hit it's 4 damage in an aoe to enemy champs and with him healing so much and st bonus he's very hard to get rid of.

 

trying core out with hunter meek, i hope catalysk frost gets boosted from hunter meek.
