A Tudor Ensign number of stripes varied between 5-13 Or EEIC Jack early-1800s Type #1 Or EEIC Ensign 1801 Type #1 Or some other flag... Do tell.
@Sokolov Pixel Tactics is really fun, although some of the heroes are imba. It also gets better over multiple plays with the same person. I recommend Duel Draft mode as it fixes the RNG of deck drawing. Suburbia rules
why did you think that? also why do you have a flag handing there? is your house a ship? how often do you play a boardgame? do they all get regular use? ooh wait, it's a houseboat right?
It's fun to see a WoW Boardgame on your desk. We've played it a few times (a birthday present for a friend, so we could stay in contact despite his WoW obsession, hehe) and I genuinely want to like it. But it's really ... well, it's two teams farming for an hour or so just to have one teamfight that decides the game. The replayability is sadly low. What do you think? For games I can recommend Legends of Andor and Dominion. If you like the WoW Boardgame, the former is quite similar in every way but the character development (which, sadly, is rather shallow). I intend to try out Elysium; sounds awesome as well. Any recommendations from your side(s)?
I have a flag on my wall because I love my country I play bgs a lot, they do all get regular use for the most part. If I end up with a game I don't want to play I'll trade it away. Some of my games are party/family games that I'll only play if I'm forced to entertain casuals.
I've owned the wow boardgame for like 6 years and I've never been able to get a group together to play it. It's not very popular, you pretty much have to be a WoW fan to want to invest 4+ hours into it or however long it takes. I have researched it a lot though and there's some house rules which improve the game greatly, including some house rules form the designer, I believe. Elysium seems like 7 wonders, which im not a huge fan of. I have been playing dominion for years, but I switched to tanto cuore/barbarossa (cute anime girls dominion clone) and traded away my dominions. Never heard of Andor but I will keep my eye out for it.
I enjoy Ascension the most out of the draft-builders I have played. Dominion is too engine heavy. Tanto Cuore is fun because of the theme though.
Drafting is probably my favorite board game mechanic. That and setups that "combo" things together randomly such as Small World for replay-ability.
I bought Ascension and sold it after the first play because the art was SO bad. p. much same reason i play tanto over dominion. art is important. same reason i still play pox
keep your sick kinks out of this forum you sicko. seriously that's weird. like clapping when a movie ends, or when a plane lands... so american, so wrong
