So I've never mentioned this before since I doubt Octopi had any idea about it when they made the game, but I can't help it at this point. I've been in the security and law enforcement industry for a decade now, and NORA, is an acronym we use for retail stores to be able to covertly request assistance. They can just call in to dispatch, and say something like, "Hi NORA, I wanted to let you know your package came in today."

Just think of your shrine (and fonts?) as a telemarketing office. A bunch of people at desks making non-stop calls to the police department.

 

P.O.X. is also an acronym I use when I choose to relieve myself behind the office copier.

 

this isn't true because nora means nothing in other languages.

 

Nora is a female name, of hebrew origin iirc.
