New Pox Nora Client Released May 23rd!

    Greetings Everyone,

    It is our pleasure to announce the release of the all new Pox Nora game client! As part of this release we have a massive update to game balance.

    All New Game Client
    • Steam: If you play through Steam, the client update will be automatic. (This is being delayed momentarily)
    • PC: Players who use the PC stand-alone launcher (non-Steam), please download the new launcher.
    • Mac: The new Mac version will be available through Steam ONLY. (Once the new version has been released on Steam)
    • PlayStation 4: The official launch and availability for this version of the game is May 23rd.
    Please Note: The old game client will be no longer be supported.

    New Lobby
    The game lobby for Pox Nora has been completely redone to make navigating with both Mouse and Controller as snappy as possible.

    Custom Games
    There is a new Custom games section where players can create matches against other players or bot.

    Deck and Rune Manager
    You can now create, choose, and edit your decks fully within the game.

    Marketplace
    The Pox Nora Marketplace is now fully integrated within game client.

    Player Details
    You can not only see your League Progression, but now Match history, Rankings, and Feats (formerly Achievements) are now accessible within the game client by clicking on your account name in the upper right corner of the lobby.

    Premade Decks
    As part of the new game client we will be phasing out the current Public Decks. These will be replaced with Premade Decks. Upon logging into the the new game client each player will be awarded the "Ironfist Inquisition" premade deck. This is a fully functioning deck that can be edited. All the rune in the deck will also be yours. To prevent exploitation, the runes from this deck can not be sacrificed in the Rune Forge or Traded. This deck will only be added to a player's account once. Otherwise all of you will be able to do anything you want with these runes, and new players will have a deck to start editing as soon as they launch the game. Additional decks can be earned by beating the Faction campaigns in the Training section of the game.

    Cross-Platform Play
    All players, whether through PlayStation, PC, or Mac, will all be able to play against each other regardless of platform! In addition, multiplayer for Pox Nora will not require a PlayStation Plus account.

    Account Link
    Existing Pox Nora players will be able to copy their PC or Mac account's inventory over to their PlayStation™Network account. Please note account cloning will only be available for 90 days at the time the game is released on the PS4, and Accounts may only be copied once. Accounts once copped will there after be treated as separate accounts and will no longer share inventory information. The Account Link feature will be accessible through the Player Details section of the PlayStation 4 version of the game.

    Patch Notes

    Design Changes

    • The following abilities now removes the conditions it prevents when a unit gains the ability:
      • Arctic
      • Fearless
      • Iron Will
      • Unstoppable
    • Fire Walls now function as follows:
      • Whenever an enemy champion enters this space, it takes 5 Fire damage and becomes Charred 4.
      • This will damage champions on deploy
    • Tunnel: X abilities now only require the destination tiles be the specified terrain
    • With minor exceptions, all champions should have at least one Class now
    • Siege no longer deals bonus damage to shrines, but deals double damage to relics

    General Fixes
    • Sundered's incorrect description has been updated
    • Illusions no longer incorrectly get some movement abilities such as Pounce or Seismic Leap
    • Illusions no longer drop nora globes in some instances
    • Incorporeal's incorrect description has been updated
    • Intoxicated is now incorrectly removed by Dispel instead of with Cleanse
    • Numerous other combat log, description and tooltip fixes

    Ability Fixes
    • Abominable's Frightened clause now functions properly
    • Absorb Illusion's healing is now properly counts as healing (prevented by Inhibited and affected by amplification effects)
    • Bloodseeker no longer incorrectly functions against champions with Hunter: Bloodied
    • Censure now functions properly as an attack, no longer bypassing Blinded and other on attack triggers
    • Crystallize's effects are no longer partially removable
    • Deception's Illusions now come into play with AP
    • Euan's Hammer now functions properly as an attack, no longer bypassing Blinded and other on attack triggers
    • Flanking now properly only triggers off basic attacks
    • Glorious Drain now properly matches the basic Drain ability
    • Illusion: X line of abilities no longer creates Illusions which have have inflated stats
    • Inquisition is now RNG 5 instead of RNG 6
    • Intensify now properly gives +20 MAX HP instead of +15 MAX HP
    • Grow now properly adds Hunter: Small
    • Hibernate's effects no longer terminate early at the end of turn
    • Mark's damage when triggered now properly augments the current damage source
      • Previously, Mark's bonus damage was in its own damage value, which meant it could be modified separately via Hunter and other damage buffing effects
    • Mirror Swap is now RNG 5 instead of RNG 6
    • Mirror Swap now sends an invalid target message if it cannot find an illusion in range
    • Nora Gem is now RNG instead of RNG 6
    • Royal Blood now gives the proper version of Defender
    • Snowbreach now functions properly on Large (2x2) units
    • Sole Purpose no longer triggers if the unit was unable to make an attack
    • Starlight now functions properly as an attack, no longer bypassing Blinded and other on attack triggers
    • Stitched Symbiosis' healing is now properly counts as healing (prevented by Inhibited and affected by amplification effects)
    • Stone Barrage is no longer incorrectly usable while Incorporeal
    • Telekinetic Thrust is no longer incorrectly usable while Incorporeal
    • Terrorize is now properly a RELOCATION effect and therefore functions properly against engaged units
      • Previously, it was incorrectly coded as a MOVE effect, which obeyed normal movement rules
    • Void Touch no longer functions against relics and shrines
    • Zombie Plague now functions properly if the unit is destroyed by a champion that would cause Plagued
    • Zombie Plague no longer incorrectly prevents a nora globe drop
    Spell Fixes
    • Bad Blood is no longer incorrectly affected by Combat Awareness
    • Bane Shift is now properly removed by Dispel
    • Blizzard Cloak will now just display the casting message to the owner rather than to both players
    • Bog Trap's effects now remain even if the terrain effect is overridden
    • Call to War should now function according to its description
    • Crush now triggers properly even if the equipment being played is not from the runedock
    • Execution Order should now function according to its description
    • Freeze in Place no longer incorrectly affects friendlies
    • Forced Transfusion should now function according to its description
    • Magnetize no longer incorrectly affects equipment
    • Pilfered Armory is no longer incorrectly global
    • Rite of Purity now properly affects MAX RNG instead of MIN RNG
    • Strategic Retreat now properly requires a champion target
    • Taint should now function properly if the target already has some ranks of Regeneration
    Equipment Fixes
    • Blade of the Snake now correctly damages on the unit's own turn, rather than on the equipment owner's turns
    • Blight Ring should now function according to its description
    • Brew equipment's Intoxicated effect is no longer removable except by removing the equipment
    • Dunewalker Mantle's Domain: Sand is now properly removed if the equipment is removed
    • Rejuvenation Ring should now function according to its description
    • Shimmering Flower now properly causes Distracted to a unit if it loses Iron Will after being equipped
    • Stitched Hex Doll no longer incorrectly grants Depression
    Relic Fixes
    • Blood Crest no longer lives for one extra tick -1 HP in some situations
    • Bone Mine's Bone Spurs no longer have their damage incorrectly reduced by the Sundered Lands faction bonus
    • Ethereal Pool's self damage clause now rounds up properly

    Absorb Illusion
    • Description: The nearest Illusion within 5 spaces is destroyed and this unit heals 8 HP.
    Assault
    • Name Change: Assault(was Opportunistic Assault)
    Battle Leader
    • Nora Cost decrease (-2)
    • Description: When this champion destroys an opposing champion, friendly champions permanently gain +1 DMG.
    Bounce
    • Description: For 8 turns, the next time target opposing champion within 8 spaces engages one of your champions, it is knockbacked 4 spaces. This effect is hidden until triggered and does not stack.
    Break the Line
    • Nora Cost decrease (-2)
    Bulwark
    • Description: When this champion is deployed from the runedock, it permanently gains +2 MAX HP for each friendly champion that shares a race or class with it.
    Cleansing Flame
    • Description: Target champion within 4 spaces takes 10 Fire damage and is Cleansed and Dispelled.
    Deafening Aura
    • Description: Whenever an enemy champion moves within 2 spaces of this unit, it takes 3 Sonic damage and is Distracted for 2 turns. This damage ignores DEF.
    Debilitate
    • Nora Cost decrease (-2)
    Deception
    • Description: This unit is relocated to target space within 5 spaces, 2 Illusion copies of this champion are randomly spawned within 5 spaces of its original location.
    Dive
    • Nora Cost increase (+2)
    • Description: This unit is relocated to target water space within 6 spaces.
    Enchant: Magic
    • Nora Cost decrease (-2)
    • Description: Target relic or equipped champion within 5 spaces gains Magical Aura 3 and Damage Shield: Magical 3 for 6 turns
    Flash Bomb
    • Nora Cost decrease (-2)
    • Description: All enemy champions within 2 spaces are Blinded for 2 turns and this champion becomes Stealthed for 4 turns and is relocated to target space within 5 spaces.
    • Description: This unit is relocated to target water space within 6 spaces.
    Frigid Lance
    • Name Change: Frigid Lance(was Freezing Strike)
    • Nora Cost increase (+2)
    • Description: This champion makes a Frost attack at RNG 2-5. If the target is occupying Ice, Snow or is Frozen and is successfully damaged, the target also becomes Chilled for 3 turns and Inhibited for 3 turns.
    Hunter: Hero
    • Description: When this unit would deal damage to a champion with Hero, Split Hero or with nora cost 85 or greater that damage is increased by 2. When this unit would receive damage from a champion with Hero, Split Hero or with nora cost 85 or greater, that damage is decreased by 2. This does not stack with other Hunter: X abilities.
    Hold the Line
    • Description: This champion gains +2 DEF, +1 MAX RNG, Planar Bound, Unstoppable, Iron Will and Defensive Strike until it moves. This does not stack.
    Homing Sense
    • Description: This unit has Mobility. At the beginning of its turns, if it is not Stunned or Paralyzed, this unit is relocated to the closest enemy champion within 5 spaces.
    Illusion of Lies
    • Nora Cost decrease (-10)
    • Description: When a friendly champion is deployed from the runedock, an illusion copy of that champion is spawned in the nearest deployment zone.
    Kill Sense
    • Description: Kill Sense -Enemy champions within 5 spaces with 50% or less HP are Slowed. This champion gains +1 SPD and +2 DMG for every enemy champion within 5 spaces with 4 SPD or less.
    Mountaineer
    • Nora Cost decrease (-2)
    Punishing Aura
    • Nora Cost decrease (-3)
    Render
    • Description: When this effect comes into play and at the beginning of each turn, this champion has +DMG equal to the highest DEF value on enemy champions for 1 turn.
    Ruin
    • Description: Target relic within 3 spaces is destroyed. If the relic was friendly, this champion also gains +2 SPD and +3 DMG for 5 turns (this does not stack with Shatter).
    Sapping Strike
    • Description: This champion makes a Physical attack for 12 damage against target enemy unit at RNG 2-5. If the target is successfully damaged, it loses all AP. This damage ignores DEF.
    Seism
    • Nora Cost increase (+2)
    Seismic Leap
    • Description: This champion is relocated to target space within 3 spaces. Non-flying enemy champions within 2 spaces of the target takes 8 Physical damage (this damage ignores DEF), are knocked back 1 space and become Slowed for 2 turns.
    Shatter
    • Description: Destroy equipment on target champion within 3 spaces. If the equipment was friendly, this champion also gains +2 SPD and +3 DMG for 5 turns (this does not stack with Ruin).
    Siege
    • Description: This champion deals double damage against relics.
    Suppression
    • Nora Cost decrease (-2)
    Telekinetic Thrust
    • Description: Target opposing champion within 4 spaces takes 6 physical damage and is knockbacked 3 spaces (this damage ignores DEF).
    Teleport: Equipped
    • Description: This champion is relocated to target equipped champion within 5 spaces.
    Thirst for Battle
    • Nora Cost decrease (-2)
    Train: Assault
    • Name Change: Train: Assault(was Train: Opportunistic Assault)
    • Description: Target friendly champion within 5 spaces permanently gains Assault. This ability costs 6 nora.
    Tunnel: Earth
    • Nora Cost increase (+2)
    • Description: This unit is relocated to target Dirt or Rock space within 6 spaces.
    Tunnel: Lava

    • This was redesigned to avoid the bug where Pilfer/Snatch abilities counted as destroy effects, and therefore could generate infinite nora with Bog Pearl
