Just noticed we have a general chat, off-topic and rune suggestion boards, but we don't have one for trading. What's up with that? Stores employed it as self-advertising, but on releases the 1:1 exchange threads were quite handy. And with the proposed changes to the forge and shard system, I do not think abusive traders will be that a big problem. Can we get a trading forum, pretty please?
I'd be for it. Though with how you can liquidate runes, I'm curious to see how trading will function.
I second this. These discussions will take place somewhere. It's best that they have their own forum.
The ratio is pretty much 5:1 within the same rarity and set, that is, someone would need to acquire 5 voidrakers to obtain in return a single whisperghast. Obviously, someone may feel that 2 voidrakers is a decent offer for a single whisperghast, so creating a thread and advertise the deal would be a better option. There is plenty of room for trading, IMO. Also, the shards are not tradeable. Forgot to mention, someone offering a whisperghast and demanding 6+ exotics can take a hike, as anybody with half brain will realize is better to use the forge. I really love the promises brought by the new forge system.
I was under the impression that Nora Shards and gold were not transferrable =P. If they are a more fluid flexible currency... hrm...
I still think for new players hosting new player and/or sample starter tournaments could result in helping get some players started. That is right now the intent, though again, I'm curious to see how things work once they get started.
Firstly great work on the forums, it's looking nice and seems to function well, all I ask is if at some point in the future you would consider adding in new topics in the forums for things like guilds, trading and events/tourneys etc. Although these are not vital for the forums to function well I think it would be a great addition for new and old player alike.
We don't want to fragment the forum conversations too much, but we will create them if there appears to be a need.
Trading will still be required for Legendaries and the latest expansion. Core and Extended set runes will be much much easier to obtain and more casual trading will arise in that area I'd guess.
I'm working on my FS collection (as you may see in my signature) and currently it links to the old forums. Now as those will be off shortly and as I havent seen any kind of market forum aroudn here I wanted to ask if you guys had plans to make such a section again or not? If not then I need some other place to actually post a wants list so I can finish my collection.
=> Redirected In short - we will wait and see and when it is needed, it will probably be created. With that said, I would probably wait and see what new features there are had to be offered in terms of crafting and trading before I get trading, though I will see about opening to the RunePool etc.
