Greetings Everyone, The expansion is a week away so that means we are ready to start revealing some more specifics about Path of De'lim. Lobby Chat We have updated how chat works for the lobbies. Rather than having a different chat channel for each lobby there is a single global chat much like the Bazaar chat. The Global chat will be persistent, so you will can access it in any lobby or in any type of match. This will allow players to better communicate with each other regardless of what they are doing in the game client. Some exceptions still apply to Rune Forge and Rune Manager for example. Additionally, this should lessen the impact of "queue dodging" due to the lobby listing being game-wide. Win/Loss Rating Caps We have also changed how much a player can gain or lose from the rating system in a single match to improve the experience of playing ranked. There will be a higher minimum rating gains for a win and lower maximum on rating loss. CURRENT: Minimum amount of rating gained for a Win = 1 Maximum amount of rating lost for a Loss = 32 NEW Minimum amount of rating gained for a Win = 5 Maximum amount of rating lost for a Loss = 20 Note: these are individual caps and they do not affect what your opponent will lose/gain. This means that it'll be less painful to lose games as well as rewards players for playing more. Also, it will also function as a form of ranked decay as the system will no longer be zero sum. Rune Previews! As in our typical fashion we have one more piece of rune art to reveal, but we also have some stats and new/updated abilities for all of you as you wait for the 19th. To keep a bit of the mystery we have removed the nora cost from the new runes. Declare Vengeance Description: Target enemy champion within 5 spaces becomes Marked for Vengeance (When this champion is successfully attacked with a basic attack, it loses 3 HP. If this champion is destroyed, the attacking champion gains +3 DMG for 6 turns.) until targets change. Portal Dancer Description: When this champion is successfully relocated, it gains Reflexes 2 and Evasive 2 for 2 turns. Ferren Focus Description: This champion has Arctic. When this champion makes a successful basic attack, the following debuffs are applied to the target in order: Frozen for 1 turn, Distracted for 2 turns, Slowed for 2 turns, Sundered for 3 turns. In addition to new runes there are some older well known classics being revisit to give them a new spin. There will be new Limited Edition versions that you can get as part of the expansion, the originals will be updated as well. The original runes will remain available in their existing sets and on the forge. Some champions will be changed more than others. Below is an example of one of the runes as it is currently and how it will be in the expansion. New Limited Edition Version heacy crosboew Description: This champion makes a Physical attack at 12 DMG, RNG 2-4 and +1 AP. This attack ignores DEF if it is greater than 0. Note: Omalaa will be a Demon Beast just like the Undertortoise. As always the content in this preview is still subject to change. Weekend Tournament The new Weekend Tournament is now available! This it will be a 4 person tournament, using Ranked Maps, with a total turn time limit per player per match of 30 minutes. This tournament will be available form August 14th through August 16th.
