Hi Everyone, Now that the dust has settled from the Ronin expansion and PAX South we wanted to let all of you know how things went. First of all, the Ronin expansion and PAX South went really well. The game got a whole a lot of attention, to the point where our floor team was doing an interview every half hour for all three days of the convention. We got a lot of good Press with many articles about the game and the expansion being written. Here are just some: Massively/Joystiq GameSpot MMOHuts MMORPG N4G What was really cool were the people our floor team came across. The people we met ran the full gambit of existing and former players who were excited to see Desert Owl Games being the developer, to people who didn’t know this eight-year-old game even existed. Some players would come up and say things like “This game is my childhood.” We even had fellow developers come up and say they were big Pox Players. The Rune Art and revamped Maps were a really popular discussion topic on the convention floor. The subtle things were also very interesting. For the convention we made up a bunch of physical cards each used existing Rune Art and on every card was a promotional code for a Limited Edition rune exclusive for PAX South attendees. The cards were popular beyond our wildest dreams after handing out several thousand more cards than we expected (good thing we were prepared). Of those cards the ones that had the Rune Art for Vex and Maxxarek were the most popular. When everything was said and done between Ronin, PAX South, Press Coverage, and the Promotional Codes the player base for Pox Nora saw substantial growth and activity. Moving forward this is very exciting for the prospects of Pox Nora. Now, enough talking lets do some showing!
