That angel is sweet. I might even have to jump on board IS angels. To bad my kickstarter IS Harb fell thru...

 

It will be pretty different than the original version, I believe, as it is/was slated to be only an IS champion instead of an IS/KF champion (as I had it). The art is great and that is an important first step, though!

 

First of all, the art on that Angel is incredible. I love how her hair is even reacting to her wings. Grats Xirone.
One question though regarding her, hold the line makes no sense on a ranged unit. How do you justify/vision hold the line on a champ with no shield and wielding a bow?
(Not being smart, just asking) I mean, I get what you are reaching for (extended range synergy on base), but truthfully it doesn't fit very well/make a lot of sense.

 

Sure it does, I see it as her landing and taking more care with her shots.

 

I mean, I assume holding the line in a battlefield implies not letting people past a certain point, through defense or total murder, and within that context it does make sense, it's just that the line she is holding is further back from the usual place where these units tend to be.

Think of the Angel as Legolas within a group of archers or something. Just manlier.

That's how I make some sense out of it, and, as a ranged unit it really does look fun to play and brings cool stuff to an archer thematic.

 

Yeah hold the line is fine on her.

 

Would be cool if those Dwarf statues could be units or relics with animate, perhaps sibling...
