Worth noting the ideas are just core concept. Sok is tweaking/balancing them far before anyone sees them.

 

Hey I haven't seen all the champions from player expansion thread but these are really really well designed and well picked choices. I really like all of them. Skelletaur the most, because I can already imagine playing him in minos. Looks like a 1x autoinclude already . No, seriously guys, these are great.
kind of jealous, because I haven't made anything worth noticing ever... :\ is there time to still post some ideas?

 

As long as Harlequin keeps Trickster + Knockout and/or Deafening Aura, I'll be happy. Ever since Excavator got the proverbial ax, Dwarves haven't had many choices in terms of slippery harassers. Some would argue that those types of champions aren't their style, but if they're done right (e.g. old Nightwatch, Agent) they can work thematically.

 

That's disgusting. And no, I don't mean because it's snakes (I have a pet snake who is adorable).

Snakes...why did it have t0 be snakes?

 

I think Serpentine Mass should somehow have Propagate: Snake worked into it.

And I'm always very happy to see more of the Maljaran races! And a Goblin!!

 

Stitched warmachine is my favorite in terms of champion design, but Serpentine mass has the most flavor.

Snakeball's stats and abilities make it look very similar to vothsair ireguard (1-2 range, arrow eater, fury). Balance with caution.

 

They would have to be incredibly weak snakes but makes sense from a lore perspective. A snake version of that ability Stitched Tyrant has would work as well. Who knows how Sok has changed the basic idea. At least the art looks promising!

Edit: Serpentine Mass should get +12,465 HP when a Boost: Beast champ is in play since each snake gets +5 HP.

 

No new abilities though.

 

Oh boy.

 

I hope we get a LE of that Serpentine Mass called Ball of Snakes with a flavour text: "Ball of Spiders was already taken so we had to improvise."
