I am having trouble to understand how the new ranked system works before I try it out myself. Spoiler: Patch note Next League Requirements +1 Points for a Ranked Loss, +2 Points for a Ranked Win Standard League V (Level 1) - 5 points Standard League IV (Level 2) - 10 points Standard League III (Level 3) - 15 points Standard League II (Level 4) - 20 points 0 Points for a Ranked Loss, +2 Points for a Ranked Win Standard League I (Level 5) - 25 points Rare League (Level 6) - 30 Points -1 Points for a Ranked Loss, +2 Points for a Ranked Win Exotic League (Level 7) - 35 Points Legendary League (Level 8) - 40 Points -2 Points for a Ranked Loss, +2 Points for a Ranked Win Limited League (Level 9) - 50 Points Battlemaster League (Level 10) - Top League Q1: Do points only +/- 2 at most in any ranked? Why do I see post game screen have more than +/- 2 points? A1: This rating system and the one in patch note are 2 separate things Q2: If I am understanding the patch note correctly, the points you need to be in a certain league as following: Spoiler: ignore this Standard League V = 0-5 Points Standard League IV = 5-10 Points Standard League III = 10-15 Points Standard League II = 15-20 Points Standard League I = 20-25 Points Rare League = 25-30 Points Exotic League = 30-35 Points Legendary League = 35-40 Points Limited League = 40-50Points Battlemaster League = 50+ Points A2: Q3: What rating do we start off as? A3: 0
Leagues and rating are separate. You get given opponents based on rating still (I think). You start with 0 league points and 1000 "rating". Also see: http://forums.poxnora.com/index.php?threads/heres-how-rank-works-now.20159/
@Capitulator I did read that but didn't have a good grasp of it. EDIT: after noam explained to me the post you linked made a lot more sense now, thanks! @noamkeren answered my questions in game. The way for that rank up is as follow (need someone verify this): He also said that the +/- 9 from my OP is another system entirely. EDIT: the +/- 9 is the actual Ladder which according to @kalasle 1v1: https://www.poxnora.com/rankings/front.do?o=0&d=1 2v2: https://www.poxnora.com/rankings/team.do?o=0&d=1
The numbers aren't how much more you need to rank up, just how much you need total. So 5 points will get you from Standard V to Standard IV, but you only need another 5 points to get to Standard III after that.
Ok, I've just checked my game history. I was wrong. I have 14 wins and 11 losses. Thats 28 points for wins and 11 points for losses. I'm Standard II with 9 league points out of 20 to get to Standard I. So I guess your chart is right.
