Hello I played Poxnora way back probably 7-8 years ago and never really got into Battleground games. I have played a few games way back but I was very young, 10-11, and I felt Poxnora was way too slow and felt complicated. Throughout the years I come back to this game and try a Battleground game but,once again, both sides seem to avoid being the aggressor. So here I am once again trying to get back into the game and expand beyond just playing Singleplayer. However, I dread the fact that no one aggresses and the game drags on for longer than it should. It frustrates me when I decided to finally attack and then get murdered even when I try to save some AP and not fully advance. I believe I have more IS runes than any other factions so I would like to perfect an IS deck unless the faction is very underpowered then I guess I have to grind for another faction. On the subject of no1 being the aggressor, try and find a way to play that combats that style of play. Play a deck or try and find a deck that tailors to that playstyle. Things like power turn spells, AP gen, Crowd Control and Relocation can help a lot. The game inherently gives an advantage to the defender due to movement requiring AP, but im sure there are ways to combat it. A more experienced player can probably help in this regard. And try to get your warbanner asap: it can drop from skirmishes if you're playing IS and you can get it if you buy the IS avatar in the store. You only need one.

Hello. I am just returning again after constant ins and outs with this game. I feel like this time I should advance into PvP to really experience the game and see if I should keep going, and I really want to stick with this game. I have many IS runes so I want to make an IS deck. One thing that I hated when I did play PvP was having these long drawn out turns where both sides just save AP. I usually initiate and then get murdered. Question is what would be a good theme of IS to master in PvP, like counters to those people who just don't move a single unit. I am usually aggressive.
