I didn't realize that had happened. I thought there were only reprints in legendaries like with doomballs. That is bad.

 

The other primary factor affecting rune value is that they can be changed dramatically from patch to patch. I mean, this game is well and truly dead as far as I can tell, so it doesn't really matter anymore. But when it did matter, it was a bit disheartening to make a trade for some difficult-to-get runes only to have them significantly altered in the next patch. I maintain to this day that the remedy for an OP rune should be a counter rather than a rework.

 

But thats how you "cold war" the entire game, forcing players to run the auto-include counters or else be defeated by an OP rune instead of fixing the root problem.. thats how you kill diversity and power creep borns.

 

Socialist sees inequality and decides hey we cant have high priced runes only available to one group of people. Socialist creates equality and what a surprise destroys an economy. Go socialism the great equalizer creator of inflation destroyer of industry and economy. Maybe they can draw you some graphs and show how destroying collector runes made the game better with super cool post modern socialist philosophies. Welcome to the future where every faction has access to everything and no abilities are unique. All abilities are homogenized and nothing is special anymore (((EXCEPT SAVAGE TUNDRA)))-->> most OP font bonus ever plus everything gets +10 hps HAA!!! RUNES SO OP CUZ BIAS IS REAL >>>ICE FANG<<< insane. ICE AMP RIDICULOUS......
