How I got there is kind of a long story that spanned several years

Soo back in the day there was this video by Daler Mehndi, a Bhangra artist, who made this song:

Blizzard had the funny tradition to give the races in World of Warcraft dances that were based on dances as performed by real artists:

Someone must have told me to check out the dance videos, as I did, and thus got to Daler Mehndi. I think I started with Ho Jayegi Balle Balle, went over Naare Naare, then, a few years ago, Koi Dheere Dheere

, and then, rather randomly, I stumbled over Rajan Ke Raja, I think after researching his discography:

(Start at 3:50 if you want the exiting part, although I really don't mind the start either)

After looking for studio or otherwise different versions of the song, because it was baller, I found this:

While the art style is rather debatable the singing is too damn joyful to pass up on. I also can concentrate rather well while listening to his shabads, so I listened to them basically exclusively while writing my Bachelors bullshit thingy.

So ... that spans, what, six years, I think?

Not exiting enough? Listen to this dope Indian/Spanish Crossover:

Barreling through the past is bringing feelings I'm not prepared for.

    21. Because of my social issues, the groups that I actively engaged with were mostly the older generations. I couldn't stand to be around kids of my own age.

I listen to more than country. The nostalgia's just hitting me hard today.

    *Goes back to reminiscing
