I probably should have used Italics, since I made such a fuss about it last game: I wasn't actually claiming you were Mafia (not like I would know anyway at this point), but was rather trying to lighten the mood and keep some kind of discussion going.

As the wolves trotted away, island dwellers came outside and went for a swim as if nothing bad would happen. About an hour of swimming later, they decided to investigate the hut they heard a blood curdling scream come from last night. It was Greysands22's hut. He suffered from a case of dying and face removal. Not so pretty.

Greysands22 was a.....we're not even sure what he is, other than dead. IT IS NOW DAY 1. Lynching will be done via hammer voting.

 

So were left with the same info we had at day 0 except now we can lynch ppl and we are 1 townie down

 

I hope this dying isn't contagious guys. Oh and the face removal too.

how odd. incineration is not something we usually see used night 1. going to have to think on what this means.

So now that it's the day phase, going to get what I wanted to say off my chest before I forget: take Gav's claim with a grain of salt. Treat him like a normal player and lynch him if he seems scummy, all the claim does is make it so that it's pointless for cop to target him.

The claim itself isn't a bad move, it was just the timing that I thought was weird, because it generated quite a bit of unnecessary discussion. For instance, some people were already mentioning they were suspicious of me. Assuming I am town, that greatly influences mafia's decision to not kill me. Same thing with me having brought up the bit about Dagda and his scum tendencies. Some of these things have to get out there eventually, of course, but mafia should never be able to make an informed first kill (aside from metagaming) before the game begins.

 

Forgot to mention before I head off to class, no real reads right now (since there's nothing to read lol).
