I understand your political views and I agree with them, but they have nothing to do with Poxnora chat. The internet is different from life, specially because words here have a much bigger weight than IRL, and as such a different view upon it is required. I can go on but my main point is that some kind of moderation is required on internet environments, it's not even debatable in most cases.

 

Unfortunately from as far as I can tell pox has the same problems it had when I quit playing like 9 months ago, which is there's still people that are causing problems in chat (Not going to name people but I'm sure most people know who I'm referring too) and due to Markoth and Devs being American it's very rare that there's any moderation during European day time if it's needed, albeit it's rare that this occurs. However new players are easily impressionable and them logging in and seeing the rare instance of chat being anarchy could be enough to drive them away.

 

And just who the Moo! are you referring to?

I fully understand this, I was just stating my view on the matter. Government was actually referring to DOG, not the actual US government.

It is DOGs choice to make a game a degenerate haven with porno links in the chat with 0 moderation, or to make it a liberal safe space where you can't actually have a meaningful conversation about a topic because it is "moderated".

From what I have learned about moderation, is that it is a necessary evil, or tyrannical (really bad in this context). An example of game with good moderation was starcraft 2 an a game with bad moderation would be league of legends.

In the case of league of legends, it is so bad that I actually am convinced they ban players so that they need to rebuy their collections, or to gain market expansion by forcing players to play together.

Like I said, I really don't see a problem with the current levels of moderation personally, and so far my experience has been positive.

 

It is good to hear that you have had a positive experience with this game. My personal experience in this game is that there has never been to much moderation, but they do moderate conversations in this game both in game and in the forums, which I feel like is needed. I have never thought the moderation was too harsh and I also have never seen anyone muted or banned for a reason that they did not deserve.

The long and short of it is this game is fantastic and the greens/moderators do not abuse there powers. They just want everyone on here to have a good experience, and I really love that about them. The community is also very tight and most of the people are really good people on here, which is why I don't understand why it has never been a popular game. Hopefully the ps4 launch will add more people and hopefully they aren't too crazy haha.

I don't really care about the whole thing, but I can think of other people who are active on the forums and would make a better fit for a moderator than you. I can think of a few, who between the three of them, I would trust more to moderate than you. I would rather have people of their caliber moderate messages, or no moderators at all.

So here is a dissenting opinion for your public forum post. But I trust the Devs and greens to make the right call. And I hope you continue playing pox regardless.

 

I'm just trying to help. I have many faults, but I will never fault my principals nor conviction. As for SJW, I'll probably be permabanned from pox within the year, at least then I can say "told you I wasn't" lol

 

Who are these people and why do you think they would be better? I am just curious. I also don't understand how you don't "trust me". You don't know me and I don't know you. Doesn't it take time and knowing people to not trust them?

Like I said I am just curious about your opinion and I was wondering about the justification, I am in no way angry and you definitely deserve your opinion, as everyone deserves to have their own opinion, and I respect it.

 

I would like to be considered as well. This is me stating my interest. I think I would make an excellent mod in representing rare league. Equal moderation throughout the leagues in Poxnora please.
