The other two said they wont be doing the show without him. That gives a chance for another network to pick the trio up. - End of Top Gear for sure - they might put new hosts in, but it will fail like the rest of the Top Gears.
Clarkson is a prick. Edit: I mean, I get that a lot of people like him, and enjoy the show, and that it earned the BBC a ton of money.... But ultimately if you let a prick like that act like he does then it makes everyone else who works for the company feel bad and encourages anyone who is making them money to feel like they can be as unprofessional as they like. I think they made the right decision.
Chances are Clarkson will probably offer a spin-off of Top Gear to some American TV company. I will miss him however. They had a good thing going.
I think, due to the fact that they are the BBC, they made the right decision for themselves, but, Top Gear (or whatever it's gonna be called) is still going to continue.
Here's my prediction: Coming soon to Netflix: Ambitious But Rubbish, a new motoring show starring Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May, and introducing The Stog, their tame racing driver.
