The mauler also looks good for FW/SL. Although it would mean you wouldnt field FW's magic damage champs, it would mean the raven and angels become much better (magic reduction and spell reduction).
Running cheap raven (72 nora or 82 without vuln) just for the endurance factor would be kickass with this guy.
