LOL: the only champs that "stop working" are acquatics (cause they pay for their -25 nora discount with a pretty harsh penalty). The rest gets reduced power, but, say, a sandstalker lord just gets diminished stats, it doesn't "stop working" at all, the same it even truer for artic champs: they do not stop working on stone. They just don't get buffed, and you don't get debuffed by ice.

AND:

To deal with TS, SL has the best solution of all, the UP. ST has Artic Vail, FS has Soak the Earth (of course if u run aquatics only using this may be quite difficult). So it's not like these factions don't have any counters to TS...
