Filter Removal in Ranked Play

Splits are probably OPed even now, but who would want to play them when you get a prize for playing FF, and nothing for playing splice? It's really a perfect situation.

People are saying that splice needs help right now, but if you had a DOW contest where only splice decks contributed...the game would be unplayable, I'm sure.

Keep in mind that for me the ranking system is simply a way to find people at my skill level to have fun and thought out games. I'm not interested in being number one -- I want to play the game and have fun doing it.

Instead, this is what happens:

First day: ranking around 2500. I win a lot of games overwhelming many of my opponents. Games aren't really that fun because it is an overrun.

Second day: ranking around 1000. I lose almost every match -- getting slaughtered most of the time. Most of these people have well over a thousand games under their belt. They know all the techecalities of each rune and have a set strategy.

Third day: ranking around 2500 hundred. See first day. Add infinity.

This kind of defeats the purpose of the game because I don't feel I am enjoying myself half as much as if I were evenly matched. I know I am not the only one going through this. Last night someone commented while I was waiting for a game, "I am tired and I need to wait for my rankings to drop."

thats why i played casual at the beginning, to learn about the gameplay/runes and to choose opponents on my own. you wont play a ranked match with an uncped deck would you ? its the same with the player, an uncped player can play casual to get some cp
