Gedden's infamous ability just got a bit more notorious. Cleansing emerald cleanses all dots before you take damage except for rend. Wai? I think not.
I would bet this has to do with deploy order in a particular game you played, rather than a global layering trick.
Actually, if you know the exact deploy stamps on each of the components here, that would be helpful data. Still don't have the pin on all the DoT interactions yet.
Do you have time stamps for the screen shot? Deployment sequence on things, including relics, influences how these interactions pan out. Also, if any of the DoTs are from spells, that would be useful as well.
Still gonna need to know the ordering on all elements to confirm -- the DoT applicators, the Emerald, and the golem.
Feel free to test it out yourself. From the picture it it is quite apparent. I dropped cleansing emerald two turns before. Golem got attacked by lasher. Lasher applied rend 4. I moved Golem within range of emerald. When my next turn starts it takes damage and then gets cleansed.
It's deploy order. Golem was deployed before Emerald, therefore it takes damage from DoT's before emerald cleanses it. Plus that picture isn't apparent at all, for all we know you could have dropped the emerald after that turn began.
I guess your emerald (•_•) / ( •_•)>⌐■-■ / (⌐■_■) has been rendered useless Yyyyyyeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
haha, this reminds me of the guy from CSI: Miami. Epic use of sunglasses and side stares to get points across.
Hm... You need a higher dose of internets good sir. Anyways, we know the problem. Everyone here is aware that deploy order is a common path the game follows when something is wrong, so discussing what came first is a major waste of time since the real issue is that it has to be fixed.
Here's one example for you: Deploy order: Lichling -> Sacred Temple -> Scorpic Scorpic then poisons Lichling. Poison damage fires before cleanse.
I think every unit and equip should be given a deploy value. Just a number somewhere on the card. First champ deployed is 1, 40th is 40, etc. Also, if a globe occupies a space and I target that space and press "N", it would be great if it would register the nora value of that globe. I don't think we run such a tedious game that we should expect someone to remember what died in a particular spot a few turns ago, memorize it's nora cost, then calculate the globe value.
