In Pox the myx are a theme meant to represent ants. What follows is a break down of how ant colonies work in nature(specifically driver ants) How the currently work in pox, and finally my personal version of the direction myx can take. Video of driver ants: Driver ants are organized into 4 main roles 1. The Queen(slow, lay lots of eggs) 2. The warriors ( biggest ants, they fight invaders) 3. The workers 4. The males (only purpose is to mate then die) The worker role can be further split into 1. Brood care givers ( protect and nuture the pupae) 2. Queen care givers ( watch over the queen and feed/heal her) 3. Builders (make bridges and dig colonies home) 4. Waste removal ( remove any waste from nest) Under SOE attack types of acid and physical, worked best in sand 1. The queen( provided terrain support, lays eggs, protects champions, and improves speed) 2. Warriors (For the main part played roles correctly) 3. Workers( The 1 worker ant MYX drone was a warrior and a builder) 4. Males ( A giant tank) My Vision for future MYX In general the whole theme of acid and sand will be preserved. The main focous of my design is to change the whole pupae mechanic. The pupae will be changed to be a low costing relic that has no function of its own. Every Myx champion will have a spell saying target myx pupae relic will spawn a myx A in B turns. My hope with this design is t make myx less of a free meat theme and allow for multiple differnt builds. Since the pupae cost nora to hatch having multiple queens ouut will not be a giant advangtate. To compensate for some early game weaknesses some myx will have cast Myx A (Target Myx pupae within Y spaces hatches into Myx A in B turns), I'm not so sure as to which myx will have this abillity maybe the queens or her care givers? 1. Myx queens (slow, lay eggs, some sort of damage taken when laying( High risk High reward rune)) 2. Warriors (same) 3. Workers( As more myx are added I would like to seethe various roles they provide filled and removed from 1 champ) 4. Males ( High nora runes, Shortlived, gift of fertality and tank abilities)

Sure, fill them with honey and they are food storage, fill them with acid and send them rollin' down a hill and they'll explode.
To better explain through SOE powercreep I feel that myx as a theme has strayed from their roots. My suggestsions are ment to give myx more of a real life feeling to them.
not degrading your ideas or anything, but i don't come home to play a magical board game based on real life. There's nothing wrong with myx current playstyle, they just need more diversed runes to flesh the theme out. A big one being more interactions with the pupae.
