This has happened in two different games (one ranked, one custom game). i've used the equip bracelet of mirrors and my opponent cast the UD spell shatter to get rid of it. However the deflect does not seem to go away with the equip and the damage got reflected back at him. I'm not sure if it is the same with any kind of shatter or just the spell. It can be quite a big swing in game.
so if you illuminate a champ, then the champ with illuminate dies, you think the illuminated condition ought to be removed?
Kind of a big difference as that is an applied debuff. Stuff like Deflect, Dodge, Block etc. are an active waiting effect. If a champ loses the ability to Dodge it should not be able to dodge.
I was one of badger’s opponents. It confused us during the match. Thinking about it, it seems to work as intended... His champ equipped bracelet. Then activated deflect. Bracelet then shattered. BUT deflect is STILL up. No problem with the logic there. Just seemed weird at the tine.
Deflect, Dodge and Block are conditions independent of their ability, which means that you can stack them and they stay on the champion even if the ability itself is gone.
