The chat works, but is malfunctional - the community also prefers talking on Discord nowadays because of the chat issue.
that's a lie ^^;; you can chat to the person/people you are talking to easily and has been the case since at least the creation of Senet. as for updates it may be a more modern feature but most board games get expansions now or at the very least faq's to patch broken rules, hell most are more akin to video games then they are classical board games both in play/design to how they are produced and marketed.
Ach. You got me. Board games nowadays DO have a lot of on line support but it kinda ruined my story....
I agree to an extent, it was born out of neccessity due to client being so bugged so it is a work around more than anything. But after using it for abit i actually prefer it as it allows pox players to continue to talk and socialise etc even when they have logged out of the game and are now playing or doing something different.
