80$ for all legendaries from last 3 expansions

80$ is much much much too high, if you wanna make some money make it 50$ and give x2 of every legendary. Honestly it would make even more sense to make it cheaper as the average player would be more willing to pay 30 or 40$ versus double the price, right now many people won't buy the 80 dollar one and the 40$ pack when all those runes can be forged seems pretty steep also. Cut the costs in half and actually make some money off this holiday idea.

Honestly $80 seems fine to me for the legendaries. I am honestly considering picking it up. Sure they can all be forged but you figure that in itself is a lot of time and effort to get that many shards. Multiple options for the holiday pack may be an appropriate option (Create just a "Randomized Holiday Legends Pack" so to speak where you get a couple random legendaries from between the 3 expansions) but honestly this seems fine to me and decently costed for those who are going to pay and don't necessarily have the time to farm out the shards.

It's 80 bucks only for the legendaries, the exos are another 40 bucks...

 

When these packs are released the LEGs cost like $7-8 each. 24 of them for that price would be $168-192, so in that sense you're getting a significant discount for buying them now that they're forgeable. I think the main problem with this bundle is just that people don't generally want every single legendary, only a few from their favorite factions, so they aren't gonna drop $80 all at once. That said, I can definitely see some people getting the bundle at this price. I think $50 would be too low.

 

It's worth it. Do the math.

 

I will pass, with the way they change and buff/nerf runes its not worth it. You can buy now and have garbage later. Until they learn to leave runes alone, no buying for me. They still nerfing harbies lolol

 

$80 should buy you all of pox and every rune ever made. Bug free, balanced, and a full color game manual.

The fact that the Yeti Painter is the face of this deal is the most appalling thing about it.

Everyone saying that it's okay for Pox to be this expensive has gotten too used to the ridiculously over the top prices we've had in place all these years.

It's downright insane that just getting the new runes from the latest expansion costs you a kidney. I just can't justify spending that much money on so few runes. Knowing that I'll have to do it again in 3 months. And before that in about 6 weeks in the midterm.

You can pretend that F2P is getting better, the reality is that unless you're grinding the game out every spare moment of your day, F2P doesn't do much. Even with the new system and whatnot, it's just not that beneficial.

Pox requires insane amount of time investments to keep up with the metagame, bugs, interactions etc and on top of that, you require a vast amount of money each expansion and midterm to keep up. In return you can play against a limited pool of players, in a game that still suffers from bugs and poor coding.

Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate what the greens have done. Things have gotten a lot better and I genuinly appreciate the effort Sokolov and friends have put into it. But the nature of Pox has gotten to a point where I just can't make myself go there again. Unless things fundamentally change, I can't see myself returning to the game, no matter how much I love it.

 

It's only worth it because were going by the pox price model of 1 legendary being worth 9 dollars. One virtual card is worth like a 2 dollars at most anymore. 80$ will get maybe one or two people buying it.

 

you almost have it right Burn except youre being way to generous to the devs. they have been crack dealers since day 1. they know this business model is BS and theyre exploiting these weak willed kids on purpose. theyre not trying to make the best turn based strategy game in history. they could. but its just not worth it to them to pass up on all that easy money selling buggy powercreep to spike wannabes. then pretend to care about bugs and balance just long enough to sucker in another batch of players, and boom! the next expansion turns it all to Bane Shift again. and when the ruinous cycle of powercreep, abilitycreep, complexitycreep makes the game unplayable even to the most addicted, revamp and repeat. no, I don't give the devs a pass on this mess.

don't even get me started on the playerbase. those liberal socialist posers who turn croney capitalist at the thought of removing trading from the game. why fix the problem when you can get in on the scam right?

 

Half an half on this. Yeah its a terrible system supported most fervently by those who abuse it, but this is a tcg.

To give a quote I made on the market thread in my signsture.

First step would be a rework of rune aquisition in the market. Second, tho I disdain auction house systems, it could be the bandaid needed until time is alloted for better trading.
