Hahah, sorry - was a very rushed post. Disclaimer: I don't know much about anything. But... It seems as though China have been making a lot of good moves lately. Of course, their repressive government and stuff sucks - but on a country wide scale they have been doing well. Banning the ivory trade and planning to implement this ban so quickly, investing more into clean water, renewable energy sources etc.

I was working in-studio & am ok, but my driver is a bit rattled" *sigh* In any event, I think @newsbuff had gone to the inauguration, would be interested in him sharing his experience if/when he wants to, along with anyone else that actually went, whether to protest or celebrate or other.
*trump is a bad man* *we are gonna be bad people to prove thay we disagree with the bad man* Never understood the logic of those rioters.
I went there late, so I was in a line about 7 blocks long around the time of the riot. I was in line for one of several entrances to the mall and where I was it was totally quiet and peaceful.
I was at the inauguration in silver section, got there very early, and was at the march today from about 10:30 until 4:00. Wanted to check everything out. Am willing to answer questions about both or either, based on personal experiences.
