Great concept! I always wanted to have a chance to totally customize cards. Actually I was thinking about possibility of creating figurines to games like poxnora. Seeing this project gives me hope to see customizable poxnora-like game in future.
Been playing it for a bit. It's pretty fun. It plays well and the players being the ones who make the cards aspect is great. It is a Hearthstone clone, which is a game I personally don't like, so I feel this game is somewhat lacking. The PvP only working at certain times of the day is not fun either. Hoping the game will turn better in the future since it's still in closed beta. I like the concept better than the actual game.
Okay so update on this game! It got into Open Beta on March 27th 2020 and have changed a lot. It got a battle pass, where you earn tons of ingame and premium currencies, emotes, card frame cosmetics, and skins. The really cool thing about Collective is that the community get to decide what content gets into the game and can change the meta and post updates to underwhelming or overwhelming cards. Also you can now post your artwork into the game if you buy the battle pass. Meaning that you could use outside tools like photoshop, clip studio paint and krita to create your artwork and import them as pngs into the collective card creator. Soon in the beginning of October, the game will have a focus toward new single player content to help build up a multiplayer playerbase. So hopefully you enjoy reading this update. The devs who makes Collective are Odious Studios and they made a pretty interesting card game about the community.
